Long horizontal lines define this large, contemporary fireplace in a home designed by Boora Architects of Portland (http://www.boora.com/). The stone's deep blue hues bring in the ocean view which is directly to the left of the fireplace.
The photo pictured is the fireplace's back side, descending two stories down the stairway. All stone on the house was cut 3" in height and varying lengths.
